In this year’s Zhuhai Air Show, the aerospace science and industry exhibition area is undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights, the exhibition area displayed a complete set of “family bucket” defense equipment. As long as there is demand and budget, you can buy a whole range of solutions from sea defense, land attack, air defense to anti-drone.

First of all, it is a coastal defense system that can be defended far and near. The coastal defense exhibition area of aerospace science and industry showed all kinds of missiles, such as YJ-12E, YJ-18E, CM-401, etc. These “star equipment” equipped with an informationized combat system, making the coastal defense not only a firepower confrontation, but also a system confrontation. These missiles have various combat capabilities such as anti-ship and anti-submarine, and combine advanced detection systems, fire attack systems, and command and control systems.

In the anti-UAV system, a combination of soft and hard, comprehensive coverage. The new LW-60 laser air defense system and FK-4000 microwave interception system can be said to be a direct response to the threat of future unmanned aerial vehicles. The LW-60 laser air defense system uses a high-precision laser beam to “hard destroy” small unmanned aerial vehicles within 6 kilometers, and can also jam and blind optoelectronic equipment up to 10 kilometers away. Compared with traditional fire strikes, laser weapons are not only low cost and “unlimited” ammunition, but also particularly effective against the threat of UAV clusters.

The FK-4000 microwave interception system is the “black technology” of the exhibition, which realizes the rapid suppression of light UAV clusters through microwave beams. It integrates detection, control and strike functions, and can “silently” destroy targets without using ammunition. This technology is especially suitable for urban security and anti-terrorism missions. Compared with the traditional interception method, this system has faster response and low maintenance cost, which greatly improves the low-altitude security ability.
